Spokane Lilac Festival Association
The Spokane Lilac Festival Association is a non-profit organization that hosts the “Spokane Lilac Festival Armed Forces Torchlight Parade” every summer. They also have a program that picks seven high school seniors to represent Spokane as the “Royal Court.” The girls receive scholarships, make public appearances, and ride in parades.
My job was to manage the public image of the 2017 and 2018 Royal Courts via social media. I created and managed these accounts over the course of a two-year internship.

Richland Education Foundation
The Richland Education Foundation supports students and teachers from the Richland School District in Washington State. They give grants to teachers, award scholarships to graduating seniors, and support Destination Imagination teams from low-income schools.
My job was to bring awareness to how the foundation’s decisions directly affected the classrooms. I managed their existing Facebook account. I also created and managed their Twitter account. I worked as an intern for the foundation for five months.
